Session: Renewable Space

Renewable Startup Journey

Being an entrepreneur has its challenges which are amplified when you embark on a new market. There are a few early adopters, but most people tend to be skeptical. Facing resistance is a path I know well in the renewable space. The key is to overcome the challenges and to be resilient. My presentation is about the journey which took me from solar energy to bioplastics in places not ready to adapt to new technologies.

Learning outcomes:

  • Learn about the challenges an entrepreneur faces in the renewable space
  • Learn how to overcome challenges against the odds as an entrepreneur in the renewable space
  • Gain an understanding about the renewable space in South Asia focused on, solar energy and bioplastics
  • Be introduced to ways to promote a greener environment through new technologies
