Speaker at International Conference on Supply Chain Management & Fulfillment Solutions

Supply Chain & Logistics Management Consultant, Australia

I am a Qualified Supply Chain Practitioner, with a proven history of adding substantive value by applying my considerable business expertise to enhance customer service outcomes and resolve complex challenges within global manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceutical, construction, home and energy products. I have 13 years’ experience working with global manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceutical, construction, home and energy products, employing Master Data modeling and analysis to develop accurate demand forecasts that optimise the supply chain and enhance customer service outcomes.

I have a comprehensive understanding of supply chain disciplines and demonstrate proven success in the design and execution of valuable continuous improvement projects, employing LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TOC and Kanban methodologies to elevate operational performance and enable customers to achieve their goals and objectives. I forge strong relationships with key stakeholders and work cross-functionally to achieve clarity of vision and align strategies and plans. In planning and forecasting, I apply advanced knowledge of Demand Planning Software and Master Data Tools to review sales trends, develop statistical forecast models and accurately evaluate results to drive effective S&OP and Integration Business Planning processes.

I apply rigorous master data governance and develop conclusive forecasts and reports that enable informed decision-making. I deploy effective analytical and problem solving skills to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. I am acknowledged as a motivating, positive and energetic individual who demonstrates resilience within a changeable business environment.

The following experience, skills, qualifications and abilities indicate a deep understanding of Supply Chain.

Significant experience across a broad range of supply chain positions.

Developing accurate operational forecasts and material management for numerous suppliers at multiple levels.

Analysing trends, developing statistical forecast models and inventory management and evaluating results to optimise S&OP and IBP processes.

Managing Master Data and employing MRP to control and maintain a robust, visible product supply.

Working cross-functionally with a range of stakeholders to align overarching objectives and develop and present compelling business cases to Senior Executives.

Designing and deploying continuous improvement projects to minimise cost and elevate service delivery.

In addition, the following achievements demonstrate that I will be able to make an outstanding contribution to the organisation.

Enhanced the Master Demand Plan and reduced the cost of inventory and production per batch by developing a Dynamic Optimisation Model.

Increased forecast accuracy and reduced annual inventory costs by 10% by developing a customer stratification matrix.

Increased service levels by 95% by employing LEAN Six Sigma to design and execute an Engineering Improvement Operations Plan.

Delivered fully automated and standardised order to Cash and Procurement to Payment processes by leading the implementation of the SAP Material Management and Sales and Distribution process modules.

Session: Data Analytics in Supply Chain

The use of Data Analytics to Optimise Inventory Levels

The future of logistics is not automation but optimisation, so I would like to introduce the benefits of Data Analytics applied to Supply Chain by showing a case study in which people can develop an Optimised the Master Demand Plan applying some statistical tools to optimise inventory keeping the service level. I will demonstrate how people are able to reduce inventory costs and production costs per SKU by developing a Dynamic Optimisation Model with linear programming to be executed dynamically by Production Planners, Demand Planners, Procurement Managers, Material Managers, Supply Chain Managers at any time, enabling them to define an optimal demand plan strategy using analytical tools.

Learning outcomes:

  • Designing and deploying continuous improvement projects in the Supply Chain to minimise cost and elevate service delivery
  • Developing statistical models of inventory management and production planning to optimise S&OP processes
  • Managing Master Data and employing Optimisation tools to control Inventory Costs
  • Developing accurate operational models and material management for numerous suppliers at multiple levels
