In this session, I summarize some of the common Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) applications in the area of cultural heritage, their pros and cons, open source tools, ground up initiatives, and future trends, based on some insights we have gained through working with the private and public sectors for heritage conservation in the past few years.
