Session: AI-powered robotic unloading of pallets laden with boxes using artificial intelligence
Material handling: Depalletization powered by AI
This presentation will cover a specific warehouse automation system based on powerful 3D vision and advanced AI algorithms – a so-called smart depalletization. The term describes robotic unloading of pallets laden with boxes using artificial intelligence. The process starts with a 3D scanner making a scan, which is then processed by AI algorithms trained on thousands of different types of boxes. Besides advantages related to increased productivity and cost savings, there is another important aspect – safety.
Learning outcomes:
- The difference between AI-powered depalletization on the one hand and classic depalletization and delayerization on the other
- The secret behind a successful AI-powered depalletization solution
- Concrete benefits in numbers of implementing an AI-powered depalletization solution
- How to implement an AI-powered depalletization solution and what skills or knowledge are necessary for successful integration
