Peter has been making sense of data for online organisations since 2006. He launched his own Digital Analytics consultancy in 2010 (L3 Analytics/LeapThree) which he subsequently sold and he is now back freelancing. Throughout his career, Peter has helped companies to work smarter, using data to inform their actions and decisions so they achieve better results. Beyond the day job, Peter has been heavily involved in the Digital Analytics community. He is the founder of MeasureCamp, the global Digital Analytics unconference that operates in over 20 cities around the world. He is also the co-founder of MeasureBowling, a global event where Digital Analysts go bowling in their home city, but all on the same evening. Peter has been a speaker at events all over the world throughout his career.

Peter has over a dozen years of experience working with Ecommerce companies and reviewing their website data. He has developed best practice approaches to this work, focusing on practical actions that any business can take, informed by data, without the need for expensive tools.

During this session, Peter will take you through this approach. He will show:
• How to understand your website structure
• How to use the Ecommerce funnel to identify where your business is weakest and what to do about it
• Introduce the Ecommerce Merchandise report to identify underperforming/overperforming products + the actions to take with these products
• The minimal critical website tracking that must be in place to inform these actions
