Cathal is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Open Orphan plc which IPO’d on the London and Dublin stock exchanges in June 2019. Open Orphan is a created niche CRO, which is the world leader in testing vaccines & antivirals through human challenge studies. Cathal is also the Founder and Managing Director of Raglan Capital, which has continued its successful streak of IPO’s with Open Orphan plc and Amryt Pharma plc. Cathal co-founded Amryt Pharma plc in 2015 along with Joe Wiley, which is listed on the London stock exchange since 2016 and which listed on Nasdaq in July 2020. Prior to Amryt, Cathal founded Fastnet Oil & Gas plc in 2011 which listed on the London stock exchange.
