Speaker at International Conference on Digital Innovation in Education, Cultural & Scientific Heritage

Since I was a child, an artistic vocation has always been within me. That made easy my decision to study a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. In my opinion, Art constitutes an essential tool for human evolution and that is why I see fundamental the need to transmit it to the general public.
During my career I was lucky enough to work as a cultural mediator in a contemporary art center called Botin Center (Santander, Spain) and I was able to experience a gratifying feeling during three years.
Wishing to learn more about museums and the management of the art world, I did a Master’s degree in Cultural Management. There I carried out studies such as the adaptability of museums and their reach to groups excluded from society, the art market, the organization of a team, and the creation of a cultural program, among many other aspects. Those studies enriched knowledge my further about the world of culture in all its aspects, and I would like being able to put them into practice.

Session: Digitization in art

Nowadays, with the development of ICT, new spaces for artistic – cultural creation and dissemination have had to be developed. Spaces that for survival have had to innovate and look for new formats, some of them with a strong technological component to favor a new approach to arts and culture.
Digitization in the art of the past, present and future will be the new pillar where to sustain all the necessary changes and the processes of adaptation to the needs and cultural demand of our current society.
